Jurassic Fern
Nothing says spring as much as the unfoiling of local ferns.

Cutting the large leaf using the light table to keep the pattern straight. I cut one side completely so that the line up the centre stayed nice and curved.

Having cut the large leaf and am just starting to fit it into the background.

Have cut the fern into the background. Now to frame with came. This will be tricky to get between each of the leaves.

The came is now on and washed. Time to make the fiddleheads.

Each of the globes for the fiddleheads needs to be ground so the foil will stick.

The wire has been spun and the globes have been foiled. Time to build.
